Finding and Reserving your Home

Q Do we need to book an appointment to visit a show home?
A

You can visit any of our show homes anytime during opening hours. We would suggest however, that if you’d like to speak to a sales manager about something in particular, it’d be wise to book this in, in the event of a busy period. Please contact us on 01246 488076 or email info@hilbrehomes.co.uk

Q Can we reserve a property before it’s released for sale?
A

You can’t reserve a property before it’s released for sale, however you can advise the on-site sales manager of your interest in a particular plot and they will contact you as soon as that plot is released.

Q How do we reserve a new home?
A

Speak to one of our sales advisors at your desired development and they will be able to assist you further, depending on plot availability.

Q Do we need to pay a deposit to reserve our plot?
A

Yes, a deposit of £500 is required to reserve a plot. Please note this amount is deductible from the total sale price.

Q Is my reservation fee refundable?
A

Should you cancel your reservation then Hilbre Homes will retain your reservation fee.

Q Is there a waiting list for each plot/development?
A

Our on-site sales managers usually hold a list of customers who have registered their interest in particular plots so that all parties are informed when the latest plots are released.

Upgrades and Making it Yours

Q When will we have our welcome meeting?
A

Our sales manager will be in touch shortly after reservation in order to book your welcome meeting.

Q When can we make our kitchen and bathroom choices?
A

Your choices will be discussed in detail at your welcome meeting with examples of each customisation.

Q We want to get carpet fitters in before we move in, is this possible?
A

Our sales manager will take note of any specialist requests and will let you know, subject to build stage if this can be scheduled in before legal completion.

Q We want white goods included in our kitchen, can we upgrade?
A

All upgrade options will be discussed at your welcome meeting, here you can tailor your new home to suit your requirements.

Insurance and Warranty

Q When should we insure our new home?
A

Your new home is insured by Hilbre Homes up until the moment of legal completion. From then on you are responsible for the insurance of both the building and its contents.
